Tell me if this sounds like you:
You want your dog walks to be relaxing and fun but instead they are stressful and frustrating.
When your dog barks or lunges on a walk you are not sure what to do or if what you are doing is 'right'.
You wish you could handle your dog with confidence in these situations.
You try to walk at quiet times to avoid triggers when possible.
Any of that sound familiar?
Now what if there was a way to enjoy walks again?
What if there was a way to teach your dog to listen to you instead of getting all barky when they see a trigger?
That’s exactly why I created Unleash Calm.
I want you to have a dog who can disengage from other dogs, strangers and wildlife on walks and listen to you instead.
I want you to have a plan and full confidence when walking your dog that you know what to do to help your dog stay calm.
I want you to enjoy walks instead of dreading them.
Hi, I'm Andrea!
I'm a certified dog trainer and the founder of Trained It!
I've been training animals since 2002 and have worked with amazing animals including dogs, raccoons, wolves and dolphins.
I'm also a professor at the Animal Behavior Institute.
The idea for this tutorial bundle came from my clients having so much success with these handling skills that I teach as the first part of my full reactivity program.
My clients enjoyed feeling in control on walks and having a plan instead of feeling flustered and frustrated when their dog barked or lunged.
Even more...they LOVED knowing how to prevent outbursts and have walks that were much more manageable and dare I say fun!
Right now you’re struggling with walks being stressful
instead of relaxing.
You have too many judging looks coming your way.
You have tried some advice from YouTube videos or well-meaning friends but have not seen a big change with your dog's behavior on walks.
Imagine if you could easily prevent your dog from fixating on a trigger and staying calm instead of barking and pulling.
Imagine having confidence in your training when taking your dog out and about.
Imagine reducing your dog’s reactive outbursts AND reducing the stress hormones that flood your pup’s (and your) body with each reactive encounter.
Make these possibilities a reality with Unleash Calm.
Here is what our clients say after two weeks of using the handling skills:
Questions?
What does the course include?
A few short lessons on how to use our handling skills, short video lessons that show you how to train your dog and how to use these skills out in the world and a cheat sheet with all 10 handling skills for quick reference.
How much of a time investment is the course?
The videos are kept short and to the point (usually between 2-4 minutes) so learning the skills won't take long at all. The skills included in this course are also easy for your dog to pick up quickly in just a few sessions with you and you'll be able to start using these skills out on walks where they are most needed!
How soon will I see improvement on walks?
You should start having better walks very quickly. If you are training for a few minutes each day you will feel confident just a few walks in and our clients report having great success within 2 weeks.
Will I really be able to help my dog with an online dog training program?
Absolutely! There are several reasons why I think online training is one of the best ways to train:
-It’s 100% on your schedule. Train any time at your own pace.
-It’s at your location. Train where it suits you!
-Ever had an in person lesson and everything made sense in the moment but afterwards you know you are forgetting details, have questions and things start to get foggy? With online training you can review the lessons any time and as many times as you need. So can your family members.
-It’s much more cost-effective than hiring an in person trainer. You get the same knowledge and skills without the high price tag (a private session with me is $250 and the skills in this course usually take 2-3 sessions to cover).
What is your refund policy?
Due to the digital nature of this course and the fact that it can be completed in a few short hours-we do not offer refunds.
What training methods do you use?
We focus on positive motivational methods including several types of rewards such as treats, play, toys, praise and booty scratches. We use mild punishers to interrupt behavior and set boundaries. We do not use any corrective collars (choke, prong, shock) or tools that can cause pain.
Imagine where you could be in just two short weeks!
You could be enjoying a relaxing stroll with your dog and have all the skills you need to confidently handle any encounters that come your way.
You could be loving walks with your pup again and both feel less frustrated.
You could have a calmer dog who is not as alert and on edge on walks and at home because of the decrease in reactive outbursts and the stress hormones that have been building up.
If this sounds good to you, you know what to do!
Are you ready to adore your dog
EVEN MORE than you already do?
